Preparation & Setup
We prepare the working area by covering all openings that we don’t want to seal.
Step 2
Pressurize & Apply
We first pressurize the environment using a blower door. Then we let the computer program unleash the sealant within the space while it simultaniously controls the temperature, pressure and humidity.
Step 3
Seal & Monitor
Aerobarrier’s results is visible in real time. With our technology, we have complete control over the air tightness level which you will be able to see with our post blower door test. Aeroseal Global will then provide you with a Certificate of Completion that compares before and after our process.

Clean Up
Once we finish sealing the envelope of your home, we start by removing all tapes and converings along with our equipment.

Air leakage, or infiltration, occurs when outside air enters a house uncontrollably through cracks, gaps, and openings. Homes with higher air leakage are significantly less energy-efficient than well-sealed homes. They also require larger HVAC systems to keep the home comfortable. These larger systems must run more frequently to keep up with the temperature changes as the outside air leaks into the house.

Super grateful/thankful for the amazing job of Aeroseal Montreal, Aerobarrier/Aeroseal Global for increasing our heating ducts efficiency from 1261cfm to 75cfm leakage. We called Aeroseal Global after we found out the type service they offer. We had a very cold basement when the AC was on and our second floor was much hotter. We even had to add a small mobile AC. The team came and quickly found major openings that were done from the former owner. These openings were hidden behind walls however the team was able to find and repair them. They achieved a 96% seal on my ducts that were installed in 1976. I’ve never been so comfortable in my house ever since and all 3 floors have the same temperature.
